The Moorings Village is a picturesque South Seas-Style Resort on 18-acres, consisting of 18 cottages and homes on what was once a coconut plantation. This barefoot retreat conveys simple elegance and old-world charm to perfection. A short walk from your doorstep lies 1,100 feet of crystalline white sand - one of the largest and most beautiful private beaches in The Florida Keys. From the beach you can experience the thrill of wind surfing or the serenity of kayaking across the aquamarine waters of the Atlantic. Islamorada, known as “The Sportfishing Capital of the World”, offers two distinctly different types of fishing. If you prefer to be in the water rather than on top of it, our area has some of the best diving and snorkeling in the Keys, offering everything from shallow or mid-range reefs to steep wall and numerous wrecks.If it’s on-land activities you are looking for, you will find a tennis court and a 25-meter lap pool nestled among the colorful bougainvillea and over 700 coconut palms on our property.

79 miles from Miami, FL. Head South toward Miad Circle, take the ramp. At the traffic circle, take the 2nd exit onto NW 20th Street. Turn Right onto Perimeter Road. Turn left Onto NW 14th Street. Take the 1st right onto NW 45th Ave. Take the ramp onto FL-836 W. Take the exit onto FL-826 S toward Flagler St/Tamiami Trail. Continue onto FL-874 S (Toll Road/Homestead). Merge onto Florida 821 Toll S/Homestead Extension of Florida’s Turnpike. Go 17.0 miles. Exit On the left onto U.S. 1 S/NE 1st Ave toward Key W. Continue to follow U.S. 1 S for 46.3 miles.
